I am a creative. I am the wife to a successful dreamer - Wilds Drake of Drake Boatworks. I am a dog mom to two golden retrievers, Skip and Ann. I love photography. I love creating art. I love design. I love fly fishing.

The journey to this creative venture wasn’t exactly as the crow flies.  It involved many twists and turns along the way, but those u-turns and dead ends enabled me to become the heart and hands behind this little slice of creative heaven today.  I would not trade it for anything.  I am happiest and most comfortable on a skiff, in the woods, shin deep on a bonefish flat, shoulder deep on a permit flat, knee deep in a hay field behind a camera stalking fawns with a dog (or two) at my hip - you get it. I love being outdoors and I love creating art that connects us to outdoor adventures.

Many of those aforementioned u-turns and dead-ends were stumbled upon in corporate america, or as I endearingly termed it, “cubicle hell.”  After many years of complacency, I got a wild hair.  I left the corporate world behind with the support of close loved ones and chased my dream of doing creative work.  The Bre Drake Co. brand portrays my leap of faith into the creative world, my love for the outdoors, and my long, unruly blondish hair that is in a constant wild and free state.

I first went down a path of photography, specifically dog photography.  When it came time to seek out design help for my own logo and branding, I realized that I wanted to complete this task myself.  This sent me down a thrilling rabbit hole of webinars, tutorials, online courses and endless research that ultimately resulted in a completed brand identity for my own business.  It also sparked a passion I never knew I had - an undiscovered talent buried beneath years of higher education, a professional certification and fancy corporate career.

I love crafting meaningful work for passionate people. There is no denying that I found work that truly sets my soul on fire. I appreciate your support and thank you for stopping by.
